Classic Martingale
Classic Martingale is one of the oldest and most widely used betting systems due to its simple strategy. Its simple rules encourage players to use the method heavily.
The basic principle is to increase bids after failure to cover the amount lost each time. The theory is that large streaks of losses are unlikely to accumulate and that wins will eventually come to cover those streaks.
While the logic is appealing, the classic martingale is very dangerous and has caused several players to go bust, as stakes can reach large numbers very quickly.
Rules
- Multiply the stake after each defeat. In a classic game of roulette with odds of 2, players should double their bets after each loss.
- After a win, return to base bet
Examples
In this example, the base bet is 10 and we bet on red (odds = 2), the martingale is trigerred in the first drawing, we lose. After the loss, the base bet is multiply by 2, then the next drawing we win, recovering the loss with in addition the winning base 10
